Complimentary overnight self-parking at Disney World resorts may be coming to an end. Starting March 21, guests with bookings at a Disney World hotel can expect to pay a daily fee, with the amount based on the level of resort they’re staying at:
- Deluxe Resort guests: $25 per night
- Moderate Resort guests: $19 per night
- Value Resort guests: $13 per night
Valet parking at the resorts, which had been $25 where available, will also be increased to $33. There is currently no news about how or when this will impact the free valet parking benefit for Tables in Wonderland.
Guests who visit a resort for dining reservations or other reasons will not be charged for temporary parking at present. In addition, Disney Vacation Club members will be exempted if they stay at a Deluxe Villa Resort.
This increase comes after a recent ticket price increase (with another hike later in the year all but certain) and on the heels of numerous upcharge experiences in recent years. As the opening of Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios looms ever closer, guests should expect to see more increases in cost of a Disney World vacation.
